• Hello Everyone,

I am looking for a way to allow a single client to create blog posts to the site I am developing for them. I would prefer to have a way that does not get them into the entire backend of WP, but just a button or something they can click on that takes them to a form that they and they alone can fill out and post new blog submissions.

Any help you all can provide – plugins, forms, articles, etc. would be greatly appreciated. ??

  • Why would you not want to give them backend access? I feel that it would be easier to use something like the User Role Editor Plugin to create a new role that only has access to add blog posts ( and can only see blog posts they’ve created ).

There are a number of plugins that allow front-end posting.

I’ve done this using the pro version of Formidable.

Thank you both for your input. Howdy McGee, I have tried using User Role Editor, however, I keep getting a 500 Internal Server Error when logged in as the Client on the backend. Something is obviously causing a conflict.

Steve, I will look into those options as well. A front-end form seems like a more elegant possibility if it is not prohibitive in cost or time to set up. Thanks! ??
