Front-End Changes & a few things in 2.7
-
Hi,
I really like WordPress, and 2.7. But there are a few discrepancies, and there is sometimes something that is a bit confusing. For example the “help” button. I don′t really need a button that shows 2 links after that. But I think it would be great if you could open a little FAQ/Help System there, so you dont′t have to open a new site.
There are also a few other (little) things, e.g. after publishing a post with quick press, the “Press this!” tip that shows every time is just annoying, I think.I also really liked the old color scheme, the new gray is a bit too boring. Perhaps, you should give the option to choose the old one, too.
Another think I noticed is that there aren′t many changes to the frontend (But that is the most important part, 99.9% of the visitors only see the frontend…). I think you should care more about the frontend, the design of it is also quite old. For example, I would love to see Inlined-Editing in the front-end – but also other things that are useful for normal visitors.
But that are only suggestions and a few thinks I noticed and I wanted to tell you. Keep up the good work ??
Bye,
holder10(I am German, sorry for the bad english ?? )
