I’ve got “custom ordering” enabled. Have dragged and dropped the sizes into the correct order (8, 10, 12) but on the front end, they are showing as 12, 10, 8.

I have tried clearing all caches, resaving and reordering but no luck.

    Theme is twenty-twenty-one.

    Thanks

It shows correctly on the shop page but not on the single product page.

    Hi @goviral,

I understand you’re experiencing an issue with the custom ordering feature. It seems like the order of sizes is not reflecting correctly on the single product page, despite appearing correctly on the shop page.

Just curious, have you tried switching to default theme (Storefront) to see if the issue persists via different themes?

Thanks. It could be that. I tried Storefront and it gave me a drop down instead of buttons. So I have to find the custom code in the Twenty Twenty One child theme that shows the buttons. Thanks for your help.

Thanks, it’s still not resolved. The ordering is correct everywhere except on the actual product page. I can’t work out why that is but for now, I’ve just left it in the wrong order ??

    Hi @goviral

I’m sorry to hear that you’re still having issues with the custom ordering. This could potentially be caused by a conflict with either your theme or one of your plugins. The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

I hope that helps! Let me know once you have done a conflict test!
