    When creating a custom field and setting the privacy to specific roles (i.e. administrators and subscribers), does this mean those roles can view that field within WordPress? Is WordPress the front-end and viewing from a browser the back-end?

    When I log on as a subscriber, I expect to only be able to see these fields in my profile with the above privacy setting set to “Admins and Subscribers’ only but I can see all of these custom fields for all profiles.

    If I only want Admins to see these fields, do I select “Administrator” only when setting the privacy for a field?
