• Hi,
Front and back end of my website slows down significantly after updated to 6.03.
    Please help.
Is it advisable to roll back to 6.02, and how?

This problem may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to deactivate all plugins and switch to the default Twenty Twenty-One theme. If the problem goes away, re-activate them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to deactivate all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re still logged in without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Thanks James. But the slow down happened right after the auto-update of WP 6.0.3.

I understand that, but as I’m not experiencing a slowdown, and I see no other reports of that, I have to assume it’s a plugin or theme conflict.

There are currently 60,295 plugins and 10,106 themes in the free directories alone. We can’t test all of them. Instead, we rely on their developers to do so, and to be honest, sometimes they just don’t.

I understand. I raised this just to see if there are other like instances and hope for a solution or some advice. I am no expert. Thanks for reply. If you think of anything else, please let me know.

Please let us know when you’ve tried the troubleshooting steps above and how those worked out.
