From wordpress.com to www.remarpro.com

So i started my blog in wordpress.com then i got it hosted through godaddy installed the software with them linked it to the blog etc. I know there are many things that i can do if im with WP.org and not WP.com but do i actually have to start a new site in wp.org? My plugins aren’t working so i thought maybe… Not surehow to word this question but does amnybody get what i am trying to ask?
