From wordpress to mobile app

  • Hi Everyone,

    A client contacted us to create a mobile app out of his woocommerce site, I was wondering what realistic options do we have to turn an existing page into an app ( if any ).

    I’ve been researching and I see there are some automated options for simple websites. However this site is heavily customized.

    Can we discuss the posibilites here?

  • For the best user experience as you’d expect from a native app, your only “realistic” option is to build a custom native up that leverages the Woocommerce API. Whether that is “realistic” from the cost/benefit point of view is an exercise for you and your client ??

    There are several online app builders out there for Woocommerse stores, but I’ve never seen one with a smooth end-user experience comparable to a native app. They simply load the mobile version of the site/store in a Webview.
