"From" Name Not Working Now

    Hey there

    Love the plugin and recommend it to customers almost every day. However, in either an update today or one prior to today’s the “From” name stopped working. All of a sudden the from name has reverted back to “WordPress” but IS sending through the specified from email and not the one listed in WordPress admin.

    This was working fine on Jan 31st so it had to be a recent update. Any fix to get rid of the “WordPress” from name? Thanks!

    Something strange though is the fact that the “Test email” from plugin settings is sending with the correct “From” name. However, the contact form (Custom contact forms redux) AND adding new WordPress users is still coming through with “WordPress’ from name.

    Hi Mike, I made a small change in version 1.1.2 to set the from name only if it’s not present. That could be why you are having this issue. I just released another update. Please install 1.1.4 and see how it goes.

    Interesting. I just saw an update come through and will give it a go. I would hope it fixes the issue because temporarily I had to switch to another SMTP plugin but surely love sticking with just one and I wanted it to be yours ?? Will let you know how it goes!

    yup that did it ! It is now working correctly with my Custom Contact form plugin..sweet ! thank you so much for quick resolution ??
