• Hi,

I’m struggling with the following situation:
    – local laptop (IBM T42)
    – I own swuste.com (redirected to swuste.dyndns.org)
    – swuste.dyndns.org has correct ip (to my home dsl line)

I reinstall the laptop with the latest and greatest ubuntu version and update it completely. I then install LAMP (apt-get tasksel) and create a DB. I download and extract wordpress directing into the var\www folder. I go through the install and yes: using localhost I can access anything I create fine.

I move my laptop to the DMZ in my router (DIR-615) and now want to change my general options. I want my site to respond to “www.swuste.com”

No matter which values I enter as “WordPress Address” and as “Blog Address”, I can not access the site. Not local, nor from remote. What am I overlooking?

PS: pingdom tools give me a load time of <2 sec for both home page as well as the wp-admin page. Both FF and IE time out.

    Thx in advance….
