OMG this plugin is awesome! Got one prob though…

When I migrated my local dev site online it appears I have to resave all my pages/posts/custom post types for my organized plugins to “kick in”. All of the settings are saved & simply clicking update on my page/post/custom post type fix it in the front end – but that’s a lot of work.

Any ideas what’s happening & if there’s a quicker way to udpdate everything? I tried bulk edit but that didn’t work.

    Thanks!

  • I have also seen this when migrating from a dev domain to a live domain. Or http to https. I’ve had to go in and manually update the slugs/permalinks for things to work. I believe the page by page settings work though – but I guess I should go in and check a few.

Thanks for chiming in @jkirker. Bit frustrating but luckily I don’t have a billion pages. ??

Since the plugin works off of the url which is saved in the database both as a string and a hashed value for speed you would have to resave everything. But there is a button on the settings page to do it all for you. Go to the recreate permalinks tab on the settings page and enter your new and old domains. Then click recreate permalinks. It will go through the entire table and replace your old domain with the new one.

Thanks @foomagoo! I did notice that but was scared to click it. LOL I’ll give it a try next time if the situation reoccurs.

    Awesome plugin BTW.

    Thanks!
