• I am using GoDaddy to host my website. I used their wordpress plugin to install wordpress. I’d like to edit the site, but do so locally. I’ve looked at home wordpress can be taken from local to web published, but not the other way around from GoDaddy. Any ideas?

  • I assume that you mean that you want to leave your WordPress site on GoDaddy running live, but want to create an updated site on LocalHost running on your own computer. And, when you are finished, use it to replace your current site on GoDaddy.

As opposed to doing all your updates to your site on your own computer, and have them “magically” get upated on GoDaddy.

If my first paragraph is correct, you would “clone” the site to LocalHost, i.e. – leaving your GoDaddy site running. When done, you would delete the GoDaddy site, and Move LocalHost to GoDaddy.

You can either follow this documentation:

    Or use this plugin:
