"From" field for emails overrides other plugins?

I’m using Participants Database and attempting to specify a different FROM email address for emails sent relative to that plugin. I need it to be different from that which I’ve specified in the Registration Magic plugin in Global > Email Settings. Registration Magic overrides my Participants Database plugins at every turn.

Help in overcoming this challenge would be appreciated. I’m using the latest version of RM Silver and WP.
