    Thank you for creating this plugin – I love it! I use it for several websites and I have set them all up exactly the same way. All are functioning as expected. My issue is that recently 1 of the sites shows the wrong ‘From’ email address when I receive the Alert Emails from WordFence about that site. This only started happening a couple of weeks ago. I do not understand why this 1 install is suddenly not using the default ‘from’ email address. All websites are at the same plugin version (the most up-to-date one you have put out). I have looked for a way to change that ‘from’ email address back to “[email protected]” but I am not *finding* that. Please advise.

  • We don’t offer a setting to change that and instead use the default WordPress uses. You can use a plugin to change that like this one:

    Thank you for the quick response. I understand that I would need to add a plugin to change the ‘from’ email address to display a different email address when I *want* to change that from the WordFence’s Default Display. However, that ‘from’ email address has already been changed on 1 of my sites (and 15 other sites show your Default ‘from’ email address).

    I am simply trying to find out how to stop that 1 install from changing the ‘from’ email address and have it display your Default ‘from’, exactly like all of the other installs display.

    Please Note: I have set all 16 sites up with the exact same WordFence settings and I do not understand why this 1 site is displaying a different ‘from’ email address than what your plugin does automatically.

    Also, please note: This 1 install only started displaying the wrong ‘from’ email address a couple of weeks ago. All 16 installs are at the same version. WordFence does not indicate the site has been hacked. I am the only one with login access, so no one else works in that site.
