From Email Issue in Google Smtp

    Hello,

    I recently signed up for gsuite business starter plan. After which I decided to send all emails from my website using Google smtp.

    I have postman Smtp plugin. I configured it for sending emails through Google.

    All is fine expect the abandoned cart mails doesn’t use website name in From Email. Instead it uses Support (name of email id).

    This issue is only limited to abandoned cart mails. Its not happening with new orders, product notification, new user registration etc.

    Hi @mayank29gupta,

    Can you please let us know whether the setting “Use WooCommerce Template Style” present in our email template is enabled? If yes, then our plugin will consider the “From name” & “From Address” from the WooCommerce setting( WooCommerce > Settings > Emails menu ).     And if this setting is disabled then the settings set up at Abandoned Carts > Settings > Email Sending Settings will get consider.

    If you are using the SMTP plugin then the From name and From email address options are present in the SMTP plugin also. So this information will display as per the SMTP plugin’s settings as all emails will be sent from the SMTP plugin.

    Please check and let us know if it is displaying correctly as per your settings or not?
