Is there a way to set the FROM email as the end user’s email? I have installed this plugin on a newly launched client site (as I always do) and my client is not very happy with having to copy/paste the user’s email to respond to their form submission. If there is not a way to do this with this plugin (and I assume there is not), are there any other mail delivery plugins that have this functionality?

    Thanks in advance!

Hi there! Sorry for the delay on answering this. So for MailChimp/Mandrill, emails can only be sent from domains that have been validated through the Mandrill interface so it cannot come from an email that is from a domain that has not been pre-approved this way. Have you tried to use the ‘Reply-To’ field? It seems like that may be a good alternative?

Thank you for the response, Matt.

I am unclear on your suggestion to use the “Reply To” field. Can you elaborate? According to the Mandrill settings, the “Reply To” email is where emails go for replies from the end user.

    Thanks!

    Hi, Matt.

Just wanted to check in here on this.

    Thanks!

@emgb_520 I don’t think this is an issue with this plugin, but rather the form plugin you are using.

Probably a good idea to ask the form developer how to set up the reply-to field.
