  • These 2 comment platforms are different so if you disable Disqus, the comments will not transfer. You can still use both if you wish.

I just installed your plugin, and it’s not working. You can check at any of the posts at https://www.cruisehive.com\

the shortcodes are working but not the automatic option to show in all posts.

ok now working but totally in the wrong place, if you go to a post page like https://www.cruisehive.com/the-effects-of-ocean-to-the-brain-and-other-reasons-to-take-a-cruise/7891 the facebook comments display directly under the content, it should display at the bottom and replace the wordpress comment display.

Please refer to the plugin homepage on how to control the placement of where the comment box appears.

I decided to remove the plugin as it also stopped images loading on the page, slow load time, issues refreshing the page. Editing php pages and finding ways to replace the default wordpress comments defeats the entire reason of installing a plugin. I’ll use one of the other FB comments plugins.

This is your choice, but the flexibility is for the masses, not catered for one person which is why bespoke placement should be hardcoded. Editing PHP files is something you can clearly do, and more time has been spent providing a 1 star rating rather than solving your own third party issues.
