Upgrading from 2.2.3 to 2.7.1

incremental upgrades seem to do better so going to 2.5 1st isn’t a bad idea

Also I’ve heard of a great plugin Instant Upgrade, is it safe to use it for such a huge upgrade? I’m really afraid to loose everything and I don’t know much about what to do if something bad happens….

once you get to version 2.7.1 you need to to deactivate and delete this plugin as it is now built in to wordpress

Hi, upgraded WP 2 to 2.7.1, now when I sign in it redirect me to my home page (it is not in WP), I delete the redirection it was like:

https://www.example.com/wordpress/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fexample.com

I went to
https://www.example.com/wordpress/wp-login.php

and it worked fine but when I want to se my site from my admin page

https://www.example.com/wordpress, it redirects me to https://www.example.com/

any suggestions??

are both the url’s correct in
admin – settings – general

if so, regenerate permalinks
admin – settings – permalinks
