Frizzly interfering with image links

Please help! I love Frizzly but it is causing a glitch with in-post image links that link to a custom url.
Before these links would open a new tab to a PDF file for readers to download. Now, they open as a lightbox, which doesn’t load and usually crashes my browser. I have tried on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox–same thing.
I have tried deactivating other plugins but this is the only one that is causing the issue.

The image links are at the bottom of the post and say “click to download”.
I’d love to keep using Frizzly but as a DIY blogger I frequently provide my readers with downloadable prints and templates so I need to be able to use image links that don’t open in lightbox.
