Fresh install of WordPress in Joomla and problems – help please

Hi all,

I have just reinstalled the WordPress component after downloading it from this website, however, even though I get a ‘Success’ message upon installation completion, when I go to the ‘Components’ area of my Joomla admin and click on JD-Wordpress, I get the following error:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I am running Joomla 1.08 if that helps. I haven’t upgraded it as nothing has gone wrong with it and I don’t have the technical knowledge to do it in case anything goes wrong.

Could someone please help me with my WordPress problem and help me to get this working?
