Fresh install, no images

    I just created a fresh install via softalicious through my control panel on my lunarpages hosting. I installed the coller theme-https://rohitink.com/2013/09/11/coller-wordpress-theme/, but no images are showing up. It looks nothing like it should. I’ve done nothing to it and it’s all brand new, so why does it look like this?

    I even disabled hotlink protection on all of my domain names and the images are still not showing up. In my research, someone mentioned changing the cache folder in the theme directory to 777, but I have no cache folder in this directory: /public_html/ashleywalters/wp/wp-content/themes/coller

  • there is no content on your website, just a hello world post,

    upload photos to slider and post content wich has featured image for images to show on home page, if nothing works read theme documentation

    So all of the themes I see online will come without any images? I thought I’d just need to change out the images but images would be there as placers.

    yes all those themes has some Demo/sample content with images, otherwise they will look so boring. you will have to add images relevant to your website and articles.

    I think you’re mistaken. I added an image and it’s still not showing up. What’s going on?

    EDIT: The background image is showing up but the images within the post are not. ??

    EDIT: I think I don’t have a permissions issue. I think it’s to do with the format of WP itself. I’ll have to do more research to see if I can implement the slider as the theme demo shows.
