Frequency of Cookie banner appearance

    Hi,
    I’ve searched your website looking for answer to my question but I found none.

    I have checked “no” on the option “show tag again”. Now, I need to know, will the banner appear ever again on my browser after I click “accept”?

    If not, what’s the frequency of the re-appearance of the banner?
    I’ve read that it should be around a year for the banner to re-appear and ask for permissions again, is this how this works?

    Hi @raghadmod,

    The cookie banner once accepted won’t appear again. Since the value is stored in a cookie named ‘viewed_cookie_policy’ with validity 365 days, the banner will reappear only after its expiry or user clears browser cache.

    Hi again,
    yes it is indeed a year. However, I was checking the cookie lifespan on Safari, and the expiry date mentioned under “viewed_cookie_policy” is only 7 days.
    Can this be fixed to one year as well?
