    Hi again,

I have a form with the Frequency field set to the value “365.” However, viewing my site, I see the opt-in form pop up several times within one session (that is, I haven’t closed the browser). I expected to see the form no more than once in 365 days.

How is the user identified for the frequency? Is it by IP address, browser cache, or another identifier? I’m asking so that I can test it for my site.

    Thank you in advance.

tiggerusa, I just did a Google PageSpeed test on our sites. I did not see MailMunch under “Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content.”. However, I did see it under “Enable compression” and that is something we are already working on resolving.

I also did a PageSpeed test on your website: https://greatfoodlifestyle.com/ and noticed that one of the main drivers of your bad ratings is jetpack itself with 3 instances in render-blocking.

Here’s something funny: https://www.remarpro.com has a rating of 51/100. While I would encourage you to improve your site speed, I can assure you that MailMunch will not slow down your website.

I probably mixed it up with the compression, then. Sorry…lots of technical stuff this weekend. It did, though, have a much larger impact on my overall score than the Jetpack one. The Jetpack one does some of the work for me, too. It automatically sends an email to people signed up when I make a new post. Is it possible to set up Mailmunch for that?

Not yet. That is definitely on our roadmap but for now we only want to help our customers do one thing really well, and that is increasing their email subscribers more than they can do now. And converting abandoning visitors into subscribers.

The difference of conversion ratio between our popovers vs the small sidebar forms is more than 50%. That means more traffic and sales for your business ??

Yah, your plugin does that well! I got a huge increase in blog subscribers the first day I had it. Thanks. I’ll let you know if/when I decide to reinstall it. I had a terrible time this weekend, when I “minified”. My site turned into the black screen of death, and thankfully came back when I reinstalled the parent theme, but I have to redo some things. Right now I have some other fires to put out before deciding on the popup! =)

Thanks to MailMunch support I resolved my problem ?? My WordPress theme was lacking of wp_footer() function and the plugin wasn’t working properly.

Maybe this can be helpful to someone with the same issue.

tiggerusa, just an update. We have added compression as well. Now you can run Google PageSpeed test and it won’t show MailMunch at all ??

Hi Mailmunch! I have a few more questions…will start a new thread, ok?
