French translation of plugin

    Hi @morehawes,
    I wanted to start translating the plugin into French, but no WordPress administrator approves them. In fact, no PTE is named for French. After hours of looking through the WordPress documentation, I came across this link which indicates the procedure for the author of the plugin to appoint the validators of the translations. Is it possible to ask a French validator to look into this plugin? As a simple translator, I cannot make such a request.

    Any and all assistance with translations is greatly appreciated ?? This is something I am actively trying to improve and learning about internationalisation as I go also.

    There are a number of translations for different languages (like German ????) that are awaiting approval (some for 3+ years!). However as an English/Welsh speaker I am unable to approve them myself.

    If you like, I can make the request on your behalf to be added as the French PTE for the plugin. However you can do this yourself here.
