• Hello,

My blog is working fine, the encoding is UTF-8, I’m using accents (french blog) and it appears correctly on my pages.

The only problem I have inside the admin panel, is with the IMM_Meta_Tags plugin: my default description is “appareils numériques”, and when editing my posts, it’s written: “appareils num??riques”. It doesn’t seem to affect the page, because the description is displayed correctly on the page, but it’s not very pleasant for me, when editing descriptions and keywords.

If anybody knows why it happens, I would be glad to have the answer.

But my biggest problem is with the search engines. When they display my blog’s name, the “é” is not displayed correctly, and I guess it can have a big impact on my SE ranking. So I really do need to solve that, but I don’t know how, as my pages are displayed fine.

Do you have any idea ?

PS: I tried to change character encoding on a test blog of mine, it didn’t seem to solve any problem, and now I’m not able to change it back to UTF-8, and not able to log into my test blog ??

I’m very desperate and I really need your help.
    Thank you
