Freeze Sidebar when Topic Clicked to Open

First – Thanks for this great plugin. I have used it to document directions for a site I created for my sailing friends.

I was wondering if it is possible to “freeze” the sidebar when someone clicks a topic link to open. When the topic is opened, the sidebar scrolls to the top of this list. I would prefer to leave the sidebar so it remains at the position where the link was clicked.
