Hello, I’ve found the plugin in the market as it was free, installed it and set it up.

After a while I’ve gotten 3 spam e-mails saying “New Entry: Simple Contact Form” which I can read in full name&text.

To my surprise WPForms says I have 21 ‘Contact us’ entries. Why can I only see the ‘Simple Contact Form’ junk mail and not the others?

If I try to read them through WordPress it asks me to pay 40$ or so.
Is there any chance I’m able to read this entries?

Would be a huge waste for me to pay that much and find only junk mail!!
    Business isn’t blooming.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @kiki112,

We’re so sorry for the confusion and the issues you are having with your email deliverability.

I would like to address two parts of your post so I apologize in advance if this reply will be a bit long.

    WPForms Lite Entries

Currently WPForms Lite does not have the feature to store entries, and we’ve provided clarification about this on the Entries page in Lite. And if you have any suggestions on how we can better clarify the entry page notice in Lite, please let me know.

With WPForms Lite, you can set up form notifications to send out form submission details to your preferred email address.

Because entries are not stored in WPForms Lite, they will not be available even when you upgrade to the paid version. However, if ever you decide to upgrade to the paid version, you can absolutely store and manage future entries on your site.

And if you’d like more help with using WPForms Lite, please feel welcome to post in our WPForms Lite support forum.

    Email Deliverability Issue

To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure an SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    I hope this helps ??

    Hi @kiki112,

We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
