    Use case scenario :

Only certain products within 3kg will be covered under Free shipping (Certain categories).

Problem comes when there are multiple items in the order — some classified as Free, some = Not Free Shipping.

How do I configure in this scenario? I wanted to keep it to any Free Shipping item(s) that exceed the 3kg will be charged the Proper rate and not based on the whole cart’s weight. — is that even possible ?

Proper Rate meaning Beyond 3 kg, if it exceeds by 1kg, the Rate should be the 1kg Rate and not the 4kg rate.

At the moment, it seems to be once exceed the 3kg for the Free Shipping items, the Shipping rate charged is for the full cart (all items) weight.

Screenshot I have here is — 3kg Free Item (3 units) + 1kg Non Free Item… but its giving me the 2nd tier which is the 3.01 to 9kg rate of $5.45 after GST. https://snipboard.io/HGCUrY.jpg

Likewise if I indicate 4 units of the Free shipping item, it would still charge at the 2nd tier Rate $5.45 and not 1st tier $3.16. : https://snipboard.io/rzEwNm.jpg

At the moment, this is how I configured :

And I am trying to see if “Any” vs “All” for both Shipping Class has any difference?

    Thank you.

    Hi @allstarsft,

I’m afraid that configuring the scenario you’ve describe would require using the shipping classes to target the products more precisely and cover their possible combinations. Shipping classes, in turn, are available in the Flexible Shipping PRO version, and according to the ToS of this forum, we’re not supposed to discuss the PRO features here. If you’d like to learn more on how to configure such scenario, please contact us directly using the support form here: https://octolize.com/support/

    Kind regards,
