• The free version unfortunately has some preset options which are definitely not desirable e.g. “shortlink” is only removable in the premium version.
In my opinion the paid for version is probably great (looks that way from all the options), but the free version is too limited.
There are better free to use plugins that will do the same without the issues.

Since you didn’t ask a question in the support forum, you would not know that:

    1) There’s an easy way to disable the WordPress or the WPSSO shortlink meta tags, (both of which are documented). The advanced features of the Premium version are not needed.

    2) WordPress adds a shortlink meta tag by default, which WPSSO updates to provide better short URLs from several shortening services. Since webpages benefit from having a shortlink meta tag, there’s really no reason to disable it – although it’s possible and easy to do.

    Hello,

I searched through the documentation and this support forum but I haven’t found anything that describes “an easy way to disable the WordPress or the WPSSO shortlink meta tags”. Could you please either post the solution here or post a URL to where I can find the solution.

    I would like to remove:
    sameAs from structured data markups
    and
    shortlink tag from meta data

    Thank you!
