• This is one of those plugins that’s fine once you pay but the the free version is deliberatly useless – inability to delete entries en masse – really, it’s time to upgrade that limitation.

    Hi there,
Sorry to hear you weren’t satisfied with some of the limitations of our lite version. We try very hard to provide a lite plugin that is useful and functional for basic use. Most of the competing plugins don’t even allow users to view submitted entries, so this is a feature our lite version offers that you won’t find in plugins like WPForms.

Bulk actions would require a $39 upgrade to our basic package, that package also gives you a ton of functionality like conditional logic, calculations, multi-paged forms and much, much more.

Our goal is to provide the most value at either the free or premium price points, but I understand the frustration when a feature you require is not included and apologize for the inconvenience.

    Hi Steve
Thanks for the response – I completley understand that we get what we pay for and buying cheap means buying twice but some of the devs of the sites I work on haven’t learnt this lesson.
The scenario – when I arrive to improve a website there are already 500+ spam comments – at 3 clicks an entry that’s 1,500 clicks of my time.
The alternative – you add a button that allows users of the free version to delete all entries.
Until you see that the latter is the decent thing to offer (and that supports rather than detracts from your paid offering) I will continue to view the free version as worse than useless.

I was on the point of using this when I read this review. But I don’t understand this. The free version is touted as having “invisible spam protection“. So how come you’re getting so much spam anyway?

And if there really is no way with the free version to select multiple entries to delete them (trivial coding), then that really does sound like a deliberate bait to purchase a “pro” version that has that simple function.

Hi there…Thanks for the question. There are many factors that may result in Spam coming through. Our honeypot spam filtering has various levels that can be set in the form settings (Off, Basic, Strict). We also have an additional layer of Javascript spam protection that can be enabled.

If spam is coming through a Formidable Form, usually it means that those settings are disabled.

In my experience, I haven’t had any spam issues with javascript spam protection and basic honeypot protection enabled.
