It even doesn’t work with the most promised feature which is so called “comment link removal plugin”

Oh, that’s strange. No one reported any such issue so far. Thank you for letting us know. We will check if there is any problem. Can you help us with some details?

    1. What is the WordPress version?
    2. Are you using any additional comment plugins?
    3. How many comments you have that you tried to delete? Is there any error or warning when you press the delete button?
    4. Can you share the site link?

    Thanks

    Thanks for the screenshot.

These options should remove/edit Links in the actual comment – not the meta-information like the date. Though as per your feedback, we will look into that feature as well.

Can you try pasting a link as part of the comment itself and see if the options work?

It shouldn’t remove the date link but it should remove the comment author link as you have mentioned in the titles and description of your plugin but it ain’t..

Instead of you wasting the time of both of us please FIX THE BUG

It should and you can see it is working in our pro demo demo: https://dev.quantumcloud.com/comment-tools/why-i-spent-500000-buying-a-blog-that-generates-no-revenue-5/ – (this code is same in both free and pro).

It may be a theme issue. What theme are you using? The live site link will help us identify the problem.

    Thanks

That’s helpful. We will check it out.

We have released a new version. Please upgrade and test if the author link removal is OK now.

We found that certain themes code the author URL in a different way. We added an extra hook for that now. Probably not a lot of themes do that. Otherwise, someone else from the 9000+ plugin users would have reported it in the support forum.

Please upgrade and test. Let us know the result.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Did you have a chance to test the update?
    Please let us know.

    Thank you
