Free version is not free? It’s a trial?

    I signed up for a free account (type: 3cx SMB Free 10), however there is an expiry date, which is set to 12/30/2023. So free version is like a trial?

    Hi @phoebest, 3CX Free edition is free forever. You’re getting a trial or 3CX SMB Free, which has more features. Don’t worry because live chat is included in 3CX Free edition.

    Thanks for your quick response. When I signed up using https://www.3cx.com/install, I chose the free option, which created the type “3cx SMB Free 10” license with expiry date set to Dec 2023. So are you saying that it will still work after the expiry date? Please confirm, thanks

    Yes, your license will be downgraded to 3CX Free and renewed. Of course you will lose SMB features, but not live chat.
