Free version doesn’t work for Variable products

I have also noticed this issue.

This is my problem:

I am using the free plugin YITH WooCommerce Product Add-Ons. I have activated it and have created an option group. But I can’t make it show in the product description in the store’s frontend.

I have left the plugin settings as in general and haven’t changed a thing (YITH Plugins menu in WP).
In Products -> Product Add-On I have created a group called Special. It has Public visibility.
In this group Special I have created the Add-on Special with the 3 options: Additional Bed, Additional Bed-Child and Special Diet.

In the Product Edit in the Product Add-Ons tab/menu I have inserted the group Special. But in the Product frontend it’s not shown???

Can you help me find out what I am doing wrong?

I have noticed that it works with simple products, but not with variable products????

I had the same issue too!
I looked for where the problem came before find this topic.

Now I understand, but it’s just written “Show an add-on only when selecting a specified product variation” on the landing page of your site, so if we want show an add-on on all variations of a variable product it could be work.
And on the WordPress plugin page it’s written, in the FAQ “Can I add options groups on variable products?
Yes, the plugin allows to do it. Options can be configured globally on product, but not on single variation.”

Is there no possibility to add an add-on for a variable product??
