• The product is far better than the others. I had a little glitch right after install (free version) and tech support responded very quickly, courteously, and professionally offering to fix the issue in a very sincere manner. Meanwhile, I checked into the documentation and found it to be excellent. The little glitch was resolved within minutes. Excellent service, a will to succeed, and top-shelf documentation: what more could you ask? And the product? It is obviously head and shoulders above the other offerings. Peepso makes buddypress look antique.

    I can assure you there’s no password disabling happening. Qhat does that even mean?

    Users can register and upon registration can establish their password.

    What you’re saying does not make any sense.

    We looked into the problem. It only occurs if the Brute Force protection is enabled and the same IP registers more than once in a very short window of time.

    You can fix it by disabling the Brute Force protection in PeepSo Config > Accounts and Security.

    On our end, we will disable the built in Brute Force protection by default on fresh installs to avoid any future confusion. And we will describe the option better, so when enabled manually it gives a good understanding to the admin how it works.

    As for your review, it feels really unnecessary. It’s more of a bug report, and that’s also a stretch as this is a very specific and narrow edge case scenario. You could have reached out to our support and we’d have solved it the same.

    Sorry to bring it up to moderators attention, but maybe we could get rid of this 1* as it’s really a chaotic bug report.

    Thanks for your help. Indeed, brute force protection was enabled and the issue is resolved. I’ve changed the rating to a glowing 5 stars. A large part of that is due to how avid you all have been to ensure that your product is excellent, that customer satisfaction is peak, and that your brand maintains it’s great reputation. Somehow, it was not apparent to me that your resolution team extended to the free version (thus the review, rather than reaching out to support). I believe the review logs on this will serve to further demonstrate what an excellent team you have and the high quality of your product. Kindest regards!
