Free Version better than Pro

  • The free Version is nearly perfect, but I’m disappointed of the Pro version.
    After I’ve installed the Pro version it didn’t take over the settings from the free version.
    The free version has options “Click Button Title Position” and “Click Menu Title Height”. These options are missing in the Pro version.
    “Export Options” does not work, neither in the free version nor in Pro.
    Clicking on “Import Options from XML” without choosing an import file results in a “Fatal Error”.
    But at least I would recommend to pay for the Pro version, because I think the author should be honored for the free version ??

    Hi Orlandoo,

    Apologies about the missing options in the Pro, they are built and scheduled for the next Pro release which you will receive free of charge (along with any future updates).

    Also can you please open a support request about Export Options as they are working correctly on my development sites so it would be interesting to know why they don’t work for you.

    In regards the settings not taken over from the free version – this is done intentionally as the plugins are 2 completely separate entities meaning you can use both on one site, the downside is of course that the options can’t be used for both.

    I am working on a conversion script for free to pro and vice versa settings which hopefully will be available soon!

    Hey Orlandoo,

    Just to come back to your original review, the 3.0 Pro beta is now available for testing which includes the new options you spoke about and about 50 extra options.

    Import/Export also now works between the Free and Pro versions so we would love to hear your thoughts on the new version if possible.
