    Hi everybody.
I created a site using Ultimate Member where some pages are accessible to everyone and some just by registration.
Now I need to create an user with free access (or precompilated user-password) to give access to viewers, without inserting any credential. I know the fastest solution could be to make all the site free but I need to create a free access that results under a specific user (example Userfree as user and 0000 as password) so that I can compare activities between registerd and free users.

Maybe the easy way could be creating an URL that includes user and password or maybe there’s a way to create a User (or a user role) in UM that works in this way.

I hope I’ve been sufficiently clear and someone can help me to resolve this question.

    Thanks in advance to everybody

    Hello @giorgiosil

Ultimate member allows you to create page/post access restriction based on logged in/ logged out status and you can also set role-specific access control.

Based on your description, You can just create different user roles and set access based on roles and that should do the job.

Thanks for your answers. I will make a test asap according to your suggestions.
This means I can set up as user role a specific user access without user and password? But how WP recognizes that is that specific user (and not just a common visitor) once someone is in?

That’s why I thought was possible to create an access token though ultimate member and send the link to selected visitors.

    Thanks

    Hello @giorgiosil

For WordPress to identify a user, the user needs to be logged in. If the user is not logged in, they will be identified as guests/visitors.
