Free Units, who can enroll and checkout
-
Hi Bojan,
It’s me again. I’m having some dificulties with the free units, who can enroll and the checkout process.
Free units:
I ‘ve set up 2 units to be free to view. The thing is that when you enter to the free units and then click on the Units tab, you can enter to ALL of the units, the Free ones and the payed ones, without even paying. How can I resolve this, so only the free units are shown?Who can enroll:
I don’t quite get the system to enroll, if I use the “manually adedd” the enroll button does not appear, if i use the “only registeres users”, I don’t know where the sign up page is. I want everyone to be able to enroll and pay the course.Checkout:
I’m having the same language problema. I opened and edited the Marketpress language file (marketpress.pot) and uploaded in the same folder (wordpress-ecommerce/marketpress-inludes/languages) as marketpress-es_ES.po and .mo but the chekout process is still in english. How can I change the language to spanish? Thanks my friend for your help!

Any wisdom for this issues Bojan?
Thanks my friend ??
Hey there elguide!
How are you doing today?
Free units:
I ‘ve set up 2 units to be free to view. The thing is that when you enter to the free units and then click on the Units tab, you can enter to ALL of the units, the Free ones and the payed ones, without even paying. How can I resolve this, so only the free units are shown? Not sure what you’re referring to, I’ve tested free preview https://screencast.com/t/aDC1BU1Z6Gat that can be added to course structure and wasn’t able to access other unit. How are you accessing non free preview unit?
Who can enroll:
I don’t quite get the system to enroll, if I use the “manually adedd” the enroll button does not appear, if i use the “only registeres users”, I don’t know where the sign up page is. I want everyone to be able to enroll and pay the course. This is default behavior of the plugin. Using “Manually added only” means students can be added manually only from backed and registration is disabled so you can’t register for that course which is the reason button is removed there. Using “anyone” in Enrollment and Course Cost in Course Overview https://screencast.com/t/gHKRspDuf2p7 will allow anyone to register and enroll the course if the course is free, if paid everyone will still be able to register and enroll the course but they will get access once they go through checkout process and the payment is confirmed.
Once this option is used clicking on sign up button should open a registration in popup where your students can register on your site.
Checkout:
I’m having the same language problema. I opened and edited the Marketpress language file (marketpress.pot) and uploaded in the same folder (wordpress-ecommerce/marketpress-inludes/languages) as marketpress-es_ES.po and .mo but the chekout process is still in english. How can I change the language to spanish? Please try renaming .po and .mo files to mp-es_ES.
Hope this helps ??
Best regards,

I cannot see the option “anyone” on the step 6 of the course configuration, I only have options of: Only manually added, registrated user, registrated user with a password, registrated user that have completed course prerequisite. How can I see the “anyone” option there?

You’ll need to check your registration settings to see if you have registration available on your site. Once you open registration “Anyone” should be available to select.
To check that please go to Settings -> General and make sure “Anyone can register” is checked, see screenshot https://screencast.com/t/DdDtY7Muo.

As for the translation issue, which language do you have selected in Settings -> General? I’ve tested translation files by using mp-es_ES and checkout process is being translated properly.
Are you having issues with specific text or everything? Also can you please post screenshot of which part is not being translated so I can take a look?
Best regards,

Already done it! Thanks. Please tell me how can I add a text with a link or a button so that the client can click and go to the register course page. I already added a text in Poedit but I couldn′t add a link. I think this is really important si that the client can click on a link and go directly to the register page.
Still it’s in english. Maybe I have to change the theme language, can you help me with this?

The language selected in Settings -> General is Spanish. You can check on this screenshot what I′m refering to: https://postimg.org/image/sqydalu8v/
Thanks my friend!
Hey again elguide,
You already have a button/link in your course page for registration so I’m sure where do you want to add this? See screenshot https://screencast.com/t/g1D8YZQS7J.
As for translation issue I can see that you’ve managed to translate the e mail part in the checkout process https://screencast.com/t/UyfSUSoeRjM so there is definitely no issue with naming the translation file and using correct language in the general settings since part of the translation is working.
I’ve also tested other parts of the checkout and tried to translate them with poedit to see if there is issue with those strings specifically but I’ve managed to translate most them without any issues. Can you please check your .po file to see if there are translation for those words there?

I can see the button/link now. Great! The only thing is that when I press the button, the registration form appears all blurry. See the screenshot: https://postimg.org/image/mdrt130yh/
How can I solve this?

Yes, I can see that the email is translated, but I really don′t know where is getting that translation from. Is it from teh wordpress theme or the marketpress?
Thanks my friend!
Hey again elguide,
I’ve checked your site and I can see the issue, I’m not sure why that happens but you can try using solution from my colleague I’ve found on our forum, please check the following thread: https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/coursepress-pro-registration-modal-window#post-820443.
The checkout text can be found in MarketPress plugin translation files.
Best regards,
BojanHi Bojan,
There is no other way to solve this blurry issue? I like the pop up regitration form and would like to keep it instead of redirecting to the registrartion page.
If there is no other way to keep it, where can I find the functions.php file of my child theme?
I will re-check the Marketpress plugin translation file again. Thanks!
Hey again elguide,
Can you please try by adding the following CSS code instead of what is suggested in the link I posted:
.cp_blur { -webkit-filter: blur(0px); -moz-filter: blur(0px); -o-filter: blur(0px); -ms-filter: blur(0px); filter: blur(0px); }
This should remove the blur from your registration page.
Hope this helps ??
Cheers,
BojanOhhh Bojan!! You are the best my friend!!
Thanks for all your help. Really ??
One last thing. Is there a CSS code that I can add so that I can remove the ABOUT information that appears in almost all the Courspress pages?
You can check what I′m refering to in: https://www.prakaya.com/login-alumnos/
Can you see the box that says About and Latest Posts? I want to remove that from all Courspress related pages.
Thanks mate.
Already manage to delete the about information!
Thanks for all your help my friend. I will keep in touch if I have any other question ??
Glad you managed to figure that one out ??
Have a nice day ??
Cheers,
Bojan
