Free theme doesn’t support child themes very well

    Still have Google Console issues popping with this theme.

    I am afraid that I have to fully agree. I have enormous problems with the updates which break my site – this never happened before. I have been using Responsive with a child theme for years – unfortunately now it is becoming a problem which should definitely not be the case.

    I have upgraded to version 4 (free edition) and re-styled the themes without the child theme. However, I still have issues with the Google Console (breadcrumb code deprecated and logo issues).

    The schema deprecated is a known issue and will be fixed in the future releases.

    Regarding the logo issue, please elaborate so that I can help you out.
