Free subscription plan in chekcout page

  • I have different subscription plans, basic plans are free, but when a user add it to cart and goes in checkout page it can not order it like free, but it force to go to choose a payment method.

    Woocommerce has opportunity for virtual products if the total of cart is 0, it hides payment methods, and you have just to click button place order in checkout page and the order is completed.

    In case of subscription plans the total is 0 but the payment methods are here and you can not place order to complete without paying. Is there any solution for this?

    Hi @besifab,

    I’m sorry but it’s not possible. Please note that YITH WooCommerce Subscription only works with PayPal Standard and this gateway cannot create subscriptions for free. The recurring total must be greater than $0.01.

    This is a simple requirement, if this is not allowed your plugin does not work at all. I can customize your plugin to support this feature, but it is better for you to update your plugin and make it more practical. It is static at all

    Thank you for your suggestion, I’ll forward your request to the plugin developer in order to evaluate if it is possible to add this feature in one of next release of the plugin.
