Hi, I have 4 shipping zones (Europe, Portugal, EUA & Canada, Rest of the world) each with a different flat rate. Now I have added a new shipping zone for free shipping over an amount of 150eur and set the shipping zones for Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Iceland, Ireland, United Kingdom (UK), Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico and US but when I make a trial and add 2 products to the basket to make over 150eur, it still appears the flat shipping rate when it should be qualified for free shipping.

Can you please help me solve this? I don’t understand why the free shipping is not working.

I have also tried to leave blank the shipping regions since the free shipping over 150Eur is the rule to apply for all countries but also this didnt work.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @lsb1

For better assistance, can you provide screenshots showing the shipping zone and free shipping method settings on your end?

For screenshots, I recommend https://snipboard.io/ for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL(s) in your reply.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi, I think I found out why…I need to add a free shipping method for each shipping zone, correct?and not a general one as I have it now

I have already added the free shipping for each shipping zone and its working.

BUT.. it shows up like this: https://snipboard.io/KcRDJS.jpg

Appears as options as the customer have to select either flat rate or free shipping. Why doesn’t it show only free shipping (and not as an option that the customer has to click)?

    thanks in advance

Furthermore, for Portugal I could add “local pick up” since I have 2 physical stores that sells my swimwear. though where do I explain to the customers the location of the local pick up? – can it be explained directly in the basket page? with the address of the local store?

    Hi @lsb1

It looks like we’ve missed your last reply.

Appears as options as the customer have to select either flat rate or free shipping. Why doesn’t it show only free shipping (and not as an option that the customer has to click)?

WooCommerce is designed to show all available shipping methods to the customer so they can choose the one that best suits their needs. However, if you want the free shipping option to be the only one available when the order qualifies for it, you can achieve this the code snippet shared here: https://woocommerce.com/document/hide-other-shipping-methods-when-free-shipping-is-available/

for Portugal I could add “local pick up” since I have 2 physical stores that sells my swimwear. though where do I explain to the customers the location of the local pick up? – can it be explained directly in the basket page? with the address of the local store?

You can certainly add this to your Portugal shipping zones. You can add a description for each shipping method where you can mention the locations of your physical stores. This description will be displayed to the customer at checkout. If you want to provide more detailed instructions or information, you can customize the “Thank You” page or the order confirmation email to include this information.

I hope this helps! If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
