Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status too? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

I’ve done some more tweaking and got it working but I’m finding it, isn’t as specific as I want it to be.

After tweaking areas, it now offers Free Shipping on postscodes NG4 for example and charges for postcodes that are LE5.

However I would like it to be more specific where it offers free shipping on NG4 but not on NG16 for example.

Is there way to make it more specific?

It looks like because you have a wildcard on NG1 it is applying free shipping to any postcode that starts with NG1. You’d need to be more specific and perhaps apply a range to that. Something like NG1…NG15 should stop it from applying to anything beyond NG15.

I’ve removed the wildcard’s off them all, so e.g.

NG1
NG2
NG3
NG4
NG5
NG6
NG7
NG8

they are all the fields suitable for Free Shipping and tested with NG4 3BQ and it charged me now for shipping now.

@forbiddenchunk Technically, you should be able to add the postcodes like the below, however, it appears there’s a bug, which I just reported here:
https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/20580

Once the bug is worked on and fixed, you should be able to add the postcodes like the above to have the proper matches.

@forbiddenchunk I received a reply back from one of the developers and it appears things are working correctly, as long as a valid postcode is entered. You can usde the above to match what you need for your zone ??
