Free shipping is dominant

    Hi there,
    we are using Woocommerce 3.2.0 and having the following issue, its a bit complicate to describe ??

    We have different shipping zones and shipping classes. Also we use the table rate shipping manager to calculate different shipping weights in different countries. All good.
    Now we also have the option free shipping activated, everything (in the home country) is free from 75 € on. Good as well.
    BUT, now we want to add the option that users can choose Express shipping with another delivery company, this costs more and is not free from 75 €. It costs always.
    The problem is now, all works below 75 €, the user can choose the other shipping company, but as soon as he reach the 75 €, there is nothing to choose anymore. Its only “free shipping”.
    This is why i named the topic like this.
    Any idea what to do here? We definitetly want to keep the free shipping, but wnat to let the customer choose if he pays for the express shipment.

    Howdy fw3000,

    Are you still having this issue?

    It sounds like your rules need some adjustment so that anything above 75 does not hide all shipping methods aside from Free.

    Can you tell me a little about what the configuration looks like for both Free and the Express shipping methods?

    Hi Shane,
    yes we still have this issue. We just have let it go and do not offer the express shipment like we originally have planned. If you have any ideas how we get this to work, it would be very helpful.

    What plugins are you using for shipping?

    Depending on how the rules are set up, you may not be able to offer an option.

    This plugin makes it really easy to offer different methods based on rules.

    you are right, we should give this plugin a try, this looks promising. Actually we use one which is not even available for download anymore…
