Free Semiologic alternative? – please recommend!

Hi all – I’ve been using Semiologic’s free theme for years, and I like it. The new version just flat out won’t work on my WP install, and I don’t think I can continue with the theme. So I’m looking for an alternative. Here’s what I want – a simple, mostly white two column theme with a header navbar that I can configure with non-wp links (links to my other websites)

2.3 compatibility is a must, AJAX features would be lovely but not necessary, widget support would be great.

Any help would be very appreciated.
