When I add a free product, it doesn’t show in the list in Mailchimp. Do the products need to have a non-zero price for them to appear?

Hi @jameat, thanks for reaching out. Free products should indeed show up in your Mailchimp product list. We’ve tested this on our end and can confirm that free products are syncing as expected.

There are a few things you can try to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Plugin Conflict: Sometimes, other plugins might interfere with the proper functioning of our plugin. To check if this is the case, please temporarily deactivate all your other plugins except for WooCommerce and the Mailchimp for WooCommerce plugin and then try syncing your products to Mailchimp again. If the free products appear, reactivate your plugins one by one until you find the one causing the issue. It’s recommended to do this in a staging environment.
    2. Enable Remote Diagnostics: Our plugin comes with a diagnostics tool that can help identify potential issues. You can enable remote diagnostics in the settings area of our plugin. If there are any fatal errors or issues, they will be logged, and you can share the logs with us for further investigation. Please provide your store URL if you activate Remote Diagnostics.
    3. Check for Updates: Make sure you’re using the latest version of our plugin. We’re continuously improving and fixing bugs, and an update may resolve your issue.

Please try these steps and let us know if they help. If you’re still having trouble, we’ll be happy to assist further.

Thanks for your swift reply. I updated to the latest version 7.8.0 as soon as it came out. But I just checked my back end and saw this: “Your theme contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files.”

Here’s what the status report says for the WordPress environment and the Server environment. Is there anything that looks dodgy there? I am also checking for plug in conflict right now.

I tried deactivating all my plugins, except WooCommerce and the Mailchimp for WooCommerce plugin, and then syncing my products to Mailchimp again. And it worked! Now I just need to reactivate my plugins one by one until I find the one causing the issue.

    Thanks for your guidance

    Jim
