Free Membership needs Admin approval – Possible?

in the upcoming version, there is an option in admin settings page where admin can choose what newly registered account status will be. by default its “Active” but if admin chooses “Pending” then admin will have to manually approve before newly registered user can login.

Firstly let me say the plugin looks great! It seems to be exactly what we need. However I am having a minor issue with this, in that even though with this new version, we’re setting the default account status to ‘Pending’, new user accounts are being created as ‘Active’.

Any clues to where we’re going wrong would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if there is any other information you require.

how are you creating account? is it being created from admin panel?

No the accounts are being created from the form on the website, using the form plugin that we paid for.

new version has been release .. this should fix your issue..

It would be so great if we could have the registration confirmation email sent out once the ‘pending’ status is being changed to ‘active’.
Possible?
I am not looking for freebies – I’ll be happy to make a donation…

PS: I am on 1.9 and registrations through the form are set to pending – that works.

I have the latest version and pending still doesn’t work. What else do I need to do?
