Free Membership needs Admin approval –Followup

    I am reopening the previous thread regarding approval of a free membership:
    Is it possible to have the account confirmation email sent once the admin switches the account status from “pending” to “approved”?
    As mentioned before, I’ll be happy to donate to the project. I rather donate to you guys than purchase another overblown – overpriced plugin.

  • This feature is already available. you should update to latest version.
    when you update member profile, just check “Notify User” checkbox.

    One more question:
    Although I have filled in an address for email notifications, the From in my email program still shows WordPress.

    Where to edit that?

    Found it. Instead of “myemail.com” had to enter My Sender <myemail.com> into the sender slot.
