Free is okay, Paid is terrible

This is a review for the Pro version which is $150. I made a rash decision to purchase the pro version of Ultimate CSV Importer (the Pro version has WP Types support, which was perfect for my needs)… the entire process was pretty horrible. I didn’t get a license for days despite paying $150 for the plugin (kinda high for a plugin). Once I finally did get the license and the download, I ran into problems and errors as soon as I activated it… it took bunches more time to try to get to resolution. Ultimately I went with a different solution and I figured as bad as the beginning of this process was, I really couldn’t imagine what maintenance/upgrades would look like, so I asked for a refund. No joy. The guy basically took me for $150. This is such poor practice. Joke’s on me for not being more careful, but I got excited and jumped the gun. In any case, just wanted to warn folks, I’m pretty sure this is just one guy who frankly isn’t very understanding or reasonable.
