Free Install Time

  • Hi
    I submitted my information to a wordpress help guy yesterday for the free installation and have not yet had a response. How long does it typically take to get this installed?
    Sorry for the impatience, just wondering what kind of timeline this entails.

    The install4free service is done by volunteers, so there’s no way to tell.

    You could just install it yourself, it’s very easy to do.

    I’ve tried and I still just don’t get it. I’m not an idiot…at least I didn’t think I was until I tried to install this myself.

    Also, if you haven’t received a response to your request, it is likely you didn’t receive the email sent to you. Check to make sure it didn’t get eaten by your spam filter.

    Just to clarify here.

    This actual installation was up and running within 20 minutes of receiving the request. The confusion lay in emails being picked up by spam filters.

    A lack of acknowledgement that the installation was found [and being used] just added to the frustration.
