    Hi,

I have my site set up in 2 languages with English as default language.
    The other language is Dutch.

When I use English the gifts show up at the Cart page.
If I have the site set to Dutch the gifts do not show up at the Cart page.

When I add a gift to my Cart when the site is set to English and than switch to Dutch the gift is in the cart and all the translations are applied.

So I have the gift categorie set up in English and in Dutch.
The products which all have their translations through WPML also in Dutch.

And I have the products that are gifts set to giftable.

Still, if the site is set to Dutch the gifts do not show up.

The gift rule is Buy 3 shakes and get one for free.

Ps. there are 2 additional languages but these are not in use yet and need to be translated further.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @django16, before anything – you should check CACHE – the CART page and CHECKOUT shouldn’t be cached (95%).

I guess you skipped something or didn’t edit translated products with “Normal Translator” – to be sure GIFT or Giftable is checked (maybe you didn’t translate Gift Categories?).

You can create a user for us,
so we can take a look and see whats going on: support |at| decom.ba

    Hi Decom team,

    Thanks for your response.

I am still working on the site so cache is turned of.
I just emptied cache just to be sure ??

I checked all translations on the products, product categories and gift categories several times and these are all translated with the translation editor.

Also checked if giftable is checked and it is. It’s working when the site is set to English.

I created a user for you and if it went well you should have received the automated email with the login details.

Hope you can find what is wrong.

    Hi, @django16 – I fixed it.

    Issue was:
    – I have the products that are gifts set to giftable.
*You didnt have “strong>Giftable checked for translated product (Dutch)
    **Please our account/user from website
    Dashboard:
WooCommerce > Settings > Native WooCommerce product editing screen
*re-save every GIFT after you add (check) Giftable and you can enable WPML Translation back.

    Translated Language: Giftable (check)

Now you only need to translate small parts of Giftable:
WPML > String translation > Search for strings

    – Choose your free gift
    – Add to cart
    – Select options
    – Note
    – This product is a free gift.

    Hi thank you very much!

For me to do it the right way next time I need to understand what you did.

    Dashboard:
WooCommerce > Settings > Native WooCommerce product editing screen.

    1. How do I get to “Native Woocommerce” editing screen_ If I go to Settings, what is the next step?

    2. Do I need to turn off the WPML plugin temporary to get the option to select Giftable in the Dutch screen.

    3. If I turn off the WPML plugin, dont I lose my translations?

Sorry. its all quite new for me.

    01. WooCommerce > WooCommerec Multilingual > Settings
    Screenshot
    02. Change Product translation interface to: Native WooCommerce product editing screen
    03. Save
    ————-
    04. Go back to Product/Gift
    05. Change Language (Top WordPress bar) and re-check is Giftable checkbox checked.
    Screenshot
    06. Save

    – Then you can revert back WPML translator
