Free for personal use or small businesses, too?

    Dear Friendly Captcha team,
    what is true? May small businesses use your free version as long as the website has under 1000 requests per month or is it personal only in general?

    I find your infos a bit inconsistent, incomplete.

    And by “1000 requests”, do you mean site requests or form submissions?

    Your explanation in the comparison post could also include small businesses:
    “Contra: Nur kostenlos für kleine Websites und Anwendungen” = “contra: only free for small websites and applications”

    While the details in your pricing infos speak another language:

    “Allowed: Up to 1,000 requests / month”
    “Forbidden: Commercial use”

    Enlighten us, could small businesses with only less form submissions use your free version? ??

    If your website has no commercial intentions (e.g. clubs, personal websites, open source projects, private projects, etc.), the free Personal plan can be used.

    If the website has commercial intentions (e.g. you want to earn money with the website or the business behind the website), then the Starter Plan for 9€ would be the right fit since our developers don’t get paid by exploiting personal data but with a fee that allows us to keep Friendly Captcha up to date and secure.

    We try to be as fair as possible and if someone really can’t afford the 9€ Starter plan, he/she can reach out to us anytime ??

    I hope that we were able to clarify it a bit better with our explanation.
