On the checkout page for free events, there is no submit button. There is only a PayPal button, which requires users to enter their PayPal credit card info — for a free event!

Using Event Tickets with Tickets Commerce and PayPal enabled. I have also tried using Event Tickets Plus with WooCommerce and run into the same problem — no way to submit registration for a free event.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @justmigrating,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

With Tickets Commerce, out of the box, it would not allow Free tickets — this will require price field. The only workaround for Free Tickets is to use RSVP with Tickets Commerce.

It should work with WooCommerce and you should be able to set the Price as blank. One thing to note here — this would work with Event Tickets Plus using the WooCommerce Integration.

Moreover, Event Tickets Plus will allow you to integrate with WooCommerce to sell tickets, so you can use whichever payment processor you use for other sales through WooCommerce.

See the article here about creating the tickets Setting up Basic Tickets > Price:

See screen recording here, in regard to creating Free and Paid Tickets:

Let me know if this helps, or if you do have more questions.

    Best,
    Abz

Abz – Here’s the problem. Using Event Tickets Plus and WooCommerce. I create a ticket for a workshop that costs $25. There is also a coupon for $25 for a user’s first workshop. When the coupon is applied, the cost is now zero. The payment buttons disappear, but no submit button appears in its place. No way to submit the registration to the workshop.

Both my client and I have licenses for Event Tickets Plus, and I wanted to submit a support ticket, but I can’t log into the Events Calendar website. Not sure what’s going on with the login on the site but I can’t login or reset my password.
